Lisa Roberts Hurd is the Founder of FOOD.BODY.SOUL. and holds a Masters (M.Phil.) from Oxford University in Classical Archaeology and BA from Tufts University. She has excavated, traveled and studied around the world applying ancient and indigenous traditions to work with those seeking a healthier, more conscious, less-stressed, spiritual lifestyle.
Her work has frequently appeared in the Huffington Post, Hay House Radio, Fox News, Plum TV, JCrew, Clean Plates, SOBeFiT, and AOL, as well as in Brad Lamm’s best-selling JUST 10 LBs and Erika Lenkert’s Healthy Eating During Pregnancy, among others.
Lisa creates events and experiences to nutritionally and energetically uplift her audiences and clients, so they can find their inner healer, radiate health and glow from the inside out. She has presented and led events at Lululemon, Soho House, Brown Harris Stevens, Stribling & Associates, Athleta, Hari NYC, Breathe Life Healing Centers, Transcend, WAAT, Hazelden-Betty Ford, New York City Public Schools' Energy Up! Program, and Gilda’s Club, among others.
Lisa also holds degrees from The French Culinary Institute and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She is certified and trained as a Lifestyle Interventionist, Health and Nutrition Counselor, Holistic Chef, and C.R.E.A.T.E Recovery Coach.
Most importantly, Lisa is the mom to an amazing 5 year old son who inspires her everyday with his wit, wisdom, creativity, and absolute joy and love of life. She and her family live in Brooklyn. #brooklynmademedoit!
